Last night, fashion bloggers, designers, and stylists converged on the Beverly Center in Los Angeles to celebrate fall fashion with top fashion experts, Adam Gallagher, Aimee Song, and Chriselle Lim.
The event, sponsored by Los Angeles Magazine and FIDM, offered delicious desserts, wine, and a black and white themed candy bar to create a sumptuous and playful aura. LA Magazine Style Editor, Linda Immediato, moderated a panel with the top bloggers above while they commented on New York Fashion Week and their favorite fashion trends so far this year.
Select FIDM students were also in attendance, drawing one of a kind sketches of all the stylish attendees. Yours truly was even asked to be drawn, which is as close as I’ll probably ever get to anything resembling high fashion. Werk.
The event also offered a great opportunity for the LA fashion world to mingle with other like-minded artists for possible collaborations in the future. I met a plethora of amazing people, including Best Dressed Man of the evening, Yohance Salmon, designer S Brucey, stylist Dominique Aimee, and Daniel Lock (who was wearing a killer blazer) to name a few.
