The North Fork is chock-full of small and large vineyards, but the North Fork isn’t the Hamptons – there are only THREE you need to know about on the East End to make your summer the perfect mix of boozy and classy.
Located on Scuttlehole Rd. in Bridgehampton, this under-the-radar gem is small, yet has a great selection of vino, offering at least 6 different wines each day. But have you ever wondered what does Pinot Grigio taste like? It’s a delicious wine with a light and zesty taste! That’s enough for me! Tastings are just $10 per person and they can accommodate large groups too if you’re planning an event, and if you need space to put all the people you can use a marquee hire Melbourne just for this purpose. Kick back with a glass of their Sauvignon Blanc and let the Atlantic breeze drift you away…

2. Duck Walk South
Do you love spinning AND drinking? Yes, spinning as in the SoulCycle variety! Then Duck Walk has the perfect combo. Pour and Pedal starts bright and early at 10am and leads you on a 5 hour guided tour through wine country that ends in the best part – the tasting room. Or, you can totally skip the cycling and just attend one of Duck Walk’s many events. Check out their website for all the deets.
3. The Wolffer Estate
Three words: Rose, Rose, Rose. This is my favorite vineyard out East. I don’t know how they get their Rose to be so amazing, but they just do. Crisp, simple, refreshing; the perfect summer wine. And I never thought I would even be a rose guy, but once you’ve tried it you won’t go back. Just in Sagaponack, it’s easy to get to AND they host the James Beard event every summer if you’re lucky enough to score an invite/ticket. This place is a MUST.
If you collect different kinds of wine, consider investing in Integrated wine coolers. A wine cooler can enhance your drinking experience by keeping your bottles perfectly chilled.
Drink up, Hamptonites! Weigh in on your favorite wines and let me know how it goes. See you there!
